1. The last book I did not finish
The Immortal Circus by AR Kahler. The premise of this book was actually really good. It was about a circus where the performers were being murdered. However, that part of the plot became the secondary plot and the book focused more on our main character fawning over the magician of the circus. I got about 60 pages in and gave up.
2. The last book I reread
The Land of Elyon: The Tenth City by Patrick Carman. I reread the first three books of this series and I enjoyed it again this time around. It’s one of those series that I grew up with and I just can’t let go.
3. The last book I bought
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. I actually bought the YA Chronicles subscription box and this was the book that came with it. I do have an unboxing for that on my page if you would like to check that out.
4. The last book I said I read, but didn’t
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I actually read all of the assigned books in school because my teachers actually got us to read them in class. However, I just faded out during Frankenstein and never actually read any of it.
5. Last book I wrote in the margins of
I don’t write in the margins of my books. I don’t annotate or anything. I just don’t see the point in it.
6. The last book I got signed
Escape From Wolfhaven by Kate Forsyth. I met her at Supanova and she was really lovely. Get book sounded like something I’d enjoyed so I bought a copy and got it signed.
7. The last book I lost
Sea Glass by Maria V Snyder. I had two copies of this book and I lost both. I have no idea where they went.
8. The last book I had to replace
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. My dog ate the book while my mother and I weren’t home. We were both about halfway through and we had to go out and buy another copy.
9. The last book I had an argument over
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. My boyfriend was telling me that YA books weren’t real books and that they were childish, so I made him read Twilight. He wasn’t happy about that, but he never mentioned anything about YA books after that.
10. The last book I couldn’t get a hold of
The Toymakers by Robert Dinsdale. This book got SOLD OUT! And then the store couldn’t get more in until October, but then they sold out again. So, I’ve missed this book twice now lol.
That is it for this Book Tag. Thank you for reading.
