TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: Nostalgic Ships

Today’s top 5 Wednesday topic is nostalgic ships. These are the ships that gave you butterflies or the first ship you ever fell head over heels for. Of course, this does contain spoilers, so if you don’t want to know who ends up with who, then click away 🤪

Top 5 Wednesday was created by Lainey at Ginger Reads Lainey and is now run by Sam over at Thoughts on Tomes. You can check out the goodreads group by clicking on this link . So, let’s get started.

Disclaimer: My Top 5 Wednesday is only going to be Top 3. I apologise.

3. Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase – The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan.

I knew these two were eventually going to end up together and it was great when they finally did. It was a friends to more than friends relationship and you could see their love for each other growing throughout the books. I like that kind of slow relationship because you get to know the person and fall in love with who they are and not what you think they will be.

2. Simon and Kat – Otherworld by Jason Segel and Kirsten Miller

This was another one of those books where they were friends first. You could clearly tell throughout the book that he had strong feelings for her. It was nice to see them finally at together after he spent so much time tracking her down.

1. Marco and Celia – The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Their relationship was so beautifully written. It developed naturally over time and they both sacrificed themselves to be together in the end. Also, falling in love with the competition/the baddie over time is one of my reading loves.

Thank you for reading 😋
