February Wrap Up and March TBR.

Hi everyone. This month was a really hard month for me. I got some bad news a few days after finishing my first book and just didn’t have the motivation to pick up the next. I then had one of my teeth pulled out due to pains, so I wasn’t reading much after that either. I’m hoping to get back on track in March. So, anyway. Let’s talk about the one book I read this month.

The book I read this month was my Owlcrate book for December and that was Amber & Dusk by Lyra Selene.

At first, I wasn’t really enjoying this book. It’s one of those books that just throws you into the world with absolutely no world building, but once we got to the Amber City, things really started to get interesting. There’s a lot of political intrigue in this book and I was never really sure about who I could trust. I also loved the descriptions of the people and the city. Our MC was also quite a strong female, choosing her goal over a guy whenever the choice was given. Overall, it was a great read and I gave it 5/5 stars.

At the moment I am slowly reading Spellslinger.

It’s a bit hard to concentrate but I think I’m progressing pretty well. So far, I’m really enjoying it even though I am only what I assume is 180 pages in (reading on kobo).

I’m not going to be making a TBR for March, I’ll just read what I feel like at the time since I haven’t really been reading much lately. But I do hope to finish Spellslinger and possibly read the Hunger Games.

Anyway. That is all for this month. Thank you for reading. Bye 👋
