So, I have mentioned before that I don’t like audiobooks. I found it hard to concentrate on them and had a hard time visualising the story. However, since I no longer need to visualise the story while reading, I decided to try an audiobook again. My original pick was the audiobook version of Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto, which is book I’m currently physically reading, but the audiobook isn’t out yet. So, I went through my Top 10 Books I Want To Read in 2019 list and picked Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. I’m 20% through it and loving it so far. I listen to it while driving and then read my physical book when I’m home. I never thought I could like an audiobook, but I do. It certainly won’t be my last as I’m planning on continuing the series this way and possibly reading a few of my Top 10 books this way.
Now that I’m reading more again, I’ll be doing monthly TBRs from next month onwards. I’m hoping to catch up on my Death Note and get through my Top 10 list.
Thank you for reading 😀. Bye 👋
