Believathon 2: Journey to the Stronghold Wrap-Up

Hello everyone. So last week, I participated in Believathon 2. This one was a 2-week long Readathon where you had to follow a path to get to the Bookkeepers Stronghold. I managed to read all five books on my chosen path, and I’m going to go through them all today.

First, at the Poachers Pocket Inn, I read Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend and I have it 5/5 stars. This was such a fun read. It reminded me of this book I read as a child and I loved it so much. I’m currently reading Wundersmith.

For the yellow brick road, I read Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and I have it 5/5 stars. It was a weird and whimsical book that didn’t make much sense, but that was what I loved about it. I’m very happy I read it.

Next, I went to the 100-acre Wood where I read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Hufflepuff Edition by JK Rowling and I gave it 5/5 stars. This is my first time reading this series as an adult and I still love it.

Then I went to the Brolly Rail where I read Cogheart by Peter Bunzl and I gave it 5/5 stars. I loved the steampunk Victorian setting and all the mechanicals and mechanimals. The characters were so wonderfully written. I did guess the twists early on, but I can’t fault it for that because it is a middle-grade book.

And lastly, at the Bookkeepers stronghold, I read Beyond the Valley of Thorns by Patrick Carman and I gave it 5/5 stars. This is still my favourite series of all time and I will never be able to give it less than 5 stars (except for book 3).

All in all, Believathon 2 was a fun experience and I can’t wait for Believathon 3 in November.

Thanks for reading. Byes 👋
